The Huskydog has given up caravaning

If we see you on a site HD we will do as always and offer a lift if its bad weather ,rather than see you get soaked waiting for public transport
Why would he be doing that, he has a tourer that has its own motor.....so, after he's visited somewhere for the day, he'll be able to go onto the next spot without having to go back for his caravan which hes left somewhere 20 miles back.....
...I do not think he is of USA tourist mentality, its Tuesday it must be York, and never see anything as they have to move on

not sure what the USA has to do with not requiring a bus stop?
how do you know what type of 'tourist' Husky is....?

... And you do by your post I have dealt with USA tourists
...as the Club's Ambassador?

I think you will be pleasantly surprised by your new MH HD. Getting off Friday evening ( after shop is closed) and still arriving early enough on a site will be a lot easier, so you might get a lot more weekends away than you think! We keep our MH ready
to roll barring valuables, and travelling light means we are set up on site in 10 minutes! The other thing is your last day can be spent sight seeing once you have left site, so again, a bit like grabbing an extra day! Yours sounds a nice compact but comfy
choice as well, only a little larger than ours, and with a bit of research, parking is not a problem, or at least hasn't been for us so far! Main thing is, as with your caravanning, just enjoy what you choose to do!0 -

Write your comments here...Ah but will The Husky do that!.Or will he just park at a site and sit, like most MH we see,as he must use a bus or walk, because a Husky drawn Sledge is not practical on site, for certain a cycle is out....unless he has a trailer
for his woofers.0 -
TDA , that is our plan , to have it parked on our drive so that at a moments notice we can just turn the key and go ,wether it's for a day out or a weekend away , hoping to fit a solar panel so we are more self sufficient and not always tied to an EHU

oddly, MHs are taxed vehicles that are allowed to park on the road.
its just a different type of touring which, im glad to say, HD seems to have embraced, despite those who seem hell bent on knocking his decision....

...I think Husky is a more laid back hound than to be upset like some by friendly banter

Nice looking unit HD must admit i am contemplating coming over to the dark side on my next outfit change, mainly due to age and ease of setup now the joints arn't as flexible as they once were Hope

Write your comments here...A free bus pass might now come in useful!
...Not req if we see him getting wet waiting to use it
We have bus pass, but only valid in Scotland....how useles is that?
We are all still one nation, why should bus passes not be valid UK wide????

kjellNN We can only use ours in England. They are not vaild in Scotland, Wales or N.Ireland. Still we have to be thankful for small mercies.

Thanks all , yes can't wait , we pick it up on the 4th may and then go away on the 7th may ,but not in it

That's a nice time of the year, Huskydog. The countryside will be full of blossom and Spring colours. Enjoy!
