I was born in 1959, there was no sat navs then. I can read a map perfectly well and I can use my brain too thanks.
so no need to waste your money on a sat nav then
I'm not quite sure why I should be justifying to you what I choose to spend my disposable income on.
i've already outlined why I find them more convenient.

Depends if you want a machine telling you which way to go. I have one that is fitted in the car but often do not go the route it sends me. I also have a motor mover but the thing with that is it sends the caravan the way i want to send it. . On sites i dont
use it as there is always plenty of room to reverse the caravan so why unhitch and mess about. When at home there is always cars parked on both sides of the road and no room to swing the front of the car to start a reverse witht he caravan hitched. So sometimes
dinasaur and others my own man0 -
Correct husky, i wouldnt buy one, the only reason i have one is because it was fitted in the car as standard and you cant say take it out as they wont reduce the price of the car, plus if they do take it out you are left with a big hole where it was fitted

Doesn't explain why you switch it on though, and set the destination.

I like to see which way it wants to send me, and especially love to see the time it says i will arive which is usually way out because of traffic
strange that, mine has live traffic updates which re calculates eta and re routes you if needed taking into account resulting delays.

Husky its a land rover MJG thats another annoying thing with it, you keep getting it saying there is standing traffic 5 miles ahead and when you ge there the traffic is flowing nice and free. The eta does re calculate but the point is you never get there
int the time that it says at the start0 -
