No 12v lights or flush working following move
Hi everyone and thanks for all the welcome responses. I have a question. I recently moved my Bessacarr Cameo 550GLD after it had been stood on the same site for about 5yrs, some 170 miles. When I got to the new site, I plugged into the mains, all ok, except
the toilet flush and the small 12v lights not working. This is the first time I have ever moved it, having bought it second hand on the previous site. Any help much appreciated. Thanks

If it's a multiplicity of 12v appliances, it's almost certainly a fuse.

Thanks everyone. Any idea where the fuses are likely to be ? The lights did flicker before going off though a couple of times, which seems odd. Someone suggested a bad to connection to teh battery maybe, but not sure where taht is either. The trips are all
loocated in a box under a seat, where there also seems to eb some kind of additional charger. I have one wherring away next to where the mains supply is plugged in and this other one next to the trip board. Thanks

It does sound more and more like a fuse. Have you not got a panel somewhere containing a load of spade type fuses (same type as in a car) which protect the various circuits, in my Bailey they are by a front bed. Also near the battery there will be a fuse on the red cable which may be faulty - mine is tucked under the battery box accessible from under the bed. Get them all out check them and clean them.
Doesn't the handbook help? A multimeter is a useful bit of kit to have for the amateur to check for electrical faults. If in doubt get the system checked out properly by an electrician who shoulld solve the problem in a couple of minutes!
