Apologises as I can't plough through 97 pages searching, but have we any idea how many couples applied to be contestants?

Judging by the line up I would say it was six.Wink

Are we sure that at least one couple was not conscripted?Wink

Anyway my question was a serious one as it does not seem to have been a well populated challenge. For example I can't recall any CT members admitting they competed but failed to make the cut. They collectively surely would be the sort of members who take caravanning/motorhoming a tad more seriously than most?

I am left wondering how representative of the CC membership it is.

Where did they select these caravaners/motorhomers from I never saw an invite to take part

Apparently it was published in both the club magazine and in CT.

Well, that lets me out.  I only use the club mag for lighting the BBQ and not had that many so far this year and probably the only time it was advertised on CT was when I got "PAGE NOT FOUND"...

It may well have been in the magazine...perhaps it was buried somewhere in the 74 pages of adverts (this months total - I am sad I know!) and so none of us saw it!

Has anyone written to BBCpoints of View . Twas on iplayer.episode 4. CC members who were interviewed outside their caravans seemed very relaxed about the COTY maybe the sunshine and a previous glass of wine helped!!

We only watched last night as a family and can't wait for this weeks episode.  We haven't laughed so much for ages.   Caravanning is meant to be fun isn't it?  I can't believe so many people have taken such offence to the show, I know now why I stopped posting.

The consensus appears to be in favour of a dislike for the programme and a lot of members are dreading a continuation this week.

if I wanted to watch something funny about the hobby then I would watch Carry on Camping etc.,and not the Caravan Club making fools of itself.

They are dreading the continuation, but of course they are forced to watch it. How else will we get another 100 pages of complaints.

daft as the weather seems to be.....we could (nearly....) have had a BBQ mid afternoon today after our cycle ride to Budleigh Salterton...

we had the windbreak up and were sat out in the sunshine having a cuppa....

however, the ripping wind eventually got the better of us.....retiring inside for a glass of red....

Fret not fellow viewers in Wales, due to EastEnders being moved to BBC2 this evening, political programme on BBC1, we can watch this further humiliation tomorrow, except me as swmbo will want Masterchef on.If you can pick up English regions on freesat or
Sky you can get your 'fix' tonight.
