Vango Air Awning - Draft Gap - Help
Have a Vango Kela air awning for the motorhome, I have a gap between the side of the motorhome and the awning sides that needs plugging, currently stuffing "stuff" in the gap... gap is @ 6 inches at top to nothing at the wheel level. Could
do with an 6ft inflatable sausage of some form... any ideas?
Its not how we've fitted it, its just how it sits from the sun canopy attachment...

We found this an issue and have two solutions. We throw the throwover straps over the motor home and this pulls it tighter. We bought two extra storm straps and sewed the buckle onto the centre Velcro roof rail strap on the Vango so that we can also pull
the middle tight too. But be careful you don't snag onto roof aerials or skylights. One chap we saw had tennis balls on strings to tie to the strap to make it easier to throw over. Also, we peg the tent door up against the van right next to the van and then turn the remainder of the tent out at 45 degree angle, but we still have a slight gap.
We have seen other users who have attached a vertical pole inside a padded sleeve sewn onto the vango to try and pull this edge in, that seemed to work but a bit of a fuss.

We were sat there yesterday looking at the side wondering why we couldn't just have a fitted awning on the side...
But we have what we have... am on the search for plastic covered foam sheets that I can make a small panel out of to fit the gap, that would work... any ideas?

This is another solution, dent pullers from e-bay, suction pad and a piece of velcro. Go to: http://forums.motorhomefacts.com/90-motorhome-awnings/180562-driveaway-awning-door-corridor-flappy-sides-2.html
See the photos on page 2.

We have a Vango Varkala caravan awning which has long foam pads down between the side of the van and the upright poles, maybe these are available as an extra fron Vango.
