Snooper reset?

My caravan edition snooper regularly 'freezes' with the Snooper home screen permanently on display. This has happened several times. The reset button is all that works, but it won't get past this screen. 

 

  In the past, the helpline has come through with solutions, but after three thirty minute sessions of 'Sorry we're very busy, you might want to call back another time', I've got fed up and throw myself into the font of wisdom on CT.

    Without wishing to appear condescending, have you tried to update your Snnoper?

    At easter I had a problem with mine freezing and spoke to Snooper (not Capital Stores who are useless), and they emailed me an update and sent me a new  sdcard.

    Have you phoned their new 08 no. rather than the 019 no? Look up Snooper on Google for the new phone no.

    Did the upgrade last time it crashed. Using Snooper's website Technical support: (0)333 121 2252 which I've used before with decent results.

    Just for your info, I managed to contact Snooper and was advised to charge it from the mains, with the unit switched off, this took half a day, but then all seems to be OK.

       Obviously,if not used for a while, the battery fails to deliver enough electrickery to fire up the programs.

    Thanks Mick GLad youre sorted. I use mine every couple of weeks even when I know where Im going just to make sure its ready for when it is needed.
