Joseph Joseph sink protector
We have a new caravan on order that has an enamelled sink. I don't want to use a washing up bowl in it for fear of scratches to the surface and wondered if anyone has one of the Joseph Joseph protectors from Lakeland and whether they are any good? If not
can anyone suggest a product that will do the job.
Thanks Bod

I've bitten the proverbial bullet and bought one of their washing up bowls. It is on little legs and has a plug of its own with a sieve bit to catch any debris (am sure there's a proper name for it). Bought one for the house too and it's great. Will hopefully
make caravan sink logistics much easier. Costs a fortune (about £25!!), but worth it to me.0 -
Thanks gasman. That looks like the same sink as the Pastiche so hopefully I have got things right. I agree about the drainer because our current van has a stainless steel sink and drainer which we are going to miss! Circumstances have forced us into changing
the van but a lot has changed in 5 years!!0 -
I was amazed when we collected our Affinity back in 2014 to see that Elddis had taken an enormous backward step by fitting enamelled sinks!
These were 'dropped' years ago for use ithe kitchens because of their ability to chip so easily.
There again this manufacturer also fitted an ineffective 'stick' for an aerial!

As ever, it's style over substance.
