My son has just purchased a used caravan and I was with him on the hand over and I noticed the cover over the Thetford Cassette was missing, only to be told that newer caravans don't have the cover? Don't think he is right, looks strange without it, any
thoughts?

It is the grey slide in cover that covers the black rubber seal.

Well my caravan is 2014 and the cassette came with the grey slide cover.

I suppose its no big deal and won't affect the working of it but it is meant to be there. It automatically retracts when put in place and covers the seal when taken out.

I think your seller is trying to pull a fast one.

Cheers Guys, I thought it should have one, it just looks odd without one and they are not that cheap either... £15 or so even on EBay
