Caravan servicing in South West France
Hi We currently have our caravan in storage in South West France, near Perpignan. We are looking for someone who can service the caravan. My husband speaks reasonable French but would love a English speaking person who we can communicate more easily with
as we are new to caravanning.

Hi, I have just found this website that may be of use to you.
http://eurocaravanengineer.com/france.html and they are a Caravan Club Approved Mobile Workshop. It seems they travel to France from the UK certain months0 -
Thanks Tracy. I have emailed this company previously as they said on their website that they covered the area where the van is but they said they do not cover that are any more. I have emailed them again just to check. (I wish they would update their website
if the answer is still no)0 -
We have used this company to service our caravan at our current (but not for long) storage site. We have to remove it by the end of July as the owner has left the country.
They use English owned storage, on campsites, and as you say they no longer cover the Perpignan area. One solution may be to arrange to holiday in your caravan somewhere near to one of the storage areas where the engineer does visit, whilst he's in the area.
We're looking to store near Perpignan, and I wonder where you keep yours. If you could email me with details at valdaathome@gmail.com I would be very grateful. We too will be looking for an engineer as our caravan will be due for a service this year.

I'm sorry they no longer cover that area. Does the owner of your storage site not have any places they can recommend? The following is a storage site who may be able to help:-
Languedoc-Roussillon

The problem is finding someone who is familiar with British caravans. French storage sites have approximately 99% French caravans, with no batteries, no gas, and probably no water suppply and (usually) no service requirements.. Our needs, as British caravanners,
are very different, and therefore we need the services of someone who is qualified to service British vans. Only those storage areas run by Brits tend to have engineers they can call on. Many storage sites we have contacted have little concept of 'a caravan
service' let alone the details of anyone who may be able to help.0
