I looked at a 90G Palace but decided against it as I did not fancy a LHD and they currently do not offer RHD. We were also put off by the 4, yes 4 overhead cocktail cabinets holding wine glasses. Much prefer our Niesmann

the one they had at the NEC had a few extras on it...only £368k from memory....

it was, however, both very nice and a bit impractical at the same time.

around 9.2m long but around 3.5m high, it is imposing, and seven steps to get upto the deck....which means massive storage underneath.

inside, it felt far more 'homely' and less vast than i thought it would...it just had a nice roomy lounge, a great kitchen, a palatial washroom and a lovely island bed...

....oh, and a large garage.....for a Smart or Fiat 500....

hang on, OH already has the Fiat 500, so why not?Wink

one issue of the size, the weight is over the 7.5t that i can drive without an HGV test, .......blast!Undecided

A mate of mine went to the NEC show and was talking to one of the staff there about it.  They haven't sold many (any?) in the UK......yet, but have sold some in europe. He reckoned families will club together & buy one between them in preference to a villa in Spain etc,   and then plan to site it in a different spot each season, while they each take turns to visit it.    Possibly makes more sense when you think of it like that....??

Whilst they may not have actually 'sold' any, they have (apparently) taken 'firm orders' (deposits?) for 18 (Europe wide) since August.....Happy

There were 2 side by side on a site near Annecy, with a Toyota Aygo in the boot... all branded up so guessed they were on a test.

Just spent a few nights at Sandringham CC site and the wardens have a big 5-wheeler with expanding panels, and it is towed by an articulated lorry cab unit!

I think this is like the one we saw in Warwick site last month. Too big for me, even if we fulltime for six months assuming it fits on the road, under the bridges and doesn't need another driving test.

That sounds like Keith. He writes on here sometimes. I think he's the warden at Thetford during the summer season.

I briefly saw them leaving Burrs a couple of years ago ... apparently they were on their way back home at the end of the season.

Those big busses are not on my wish list.  They would not fit on my drive.

Sound similar to one we saw at the Thetford site last year
