Next question for the experts - waste when no MSP
So, if I don't want to carry a waste master, or a bucket, what do I do with my waste water when there is no MSP - for example on a CL that doesn't have one.
Or...do I really need some sort of container...?
Just to add, the replies to all my questons have been invaluable so thank you in advance!

You use a pipe/hose into the ordinary waste drain at the tap. If you're not prepared to drive the MH to the drain you will have to use a container.

MM - A CL we stopped at in Lincolnshire told us specifically to put our waste water into the hedge rows
I'm not sure he'd be happy with around a 100 litres of grey water from my MH slopping into his hedgerows - there's only so much they'd absorb.
OP - use a plastic 5L watering can - you can use it to fill up as well.

I wonder if we've all been to the same CL in Lincolnshire. We didn't need to use much water because of the facilities available so every two days of our stay we emptied the waste water into a collapsable bucket and tipped into the hedge.
Sometimes we empty the water water into the cassette after we've used the elsan point. We fill up the cassette and empty it into the Elsan providing the owner doesn't object.
Other times we just bring the waste water home and empty onto our drain using the toilet cassett again.
I have stayed on a couple of CLs where the advice was to leave the drain tap open a fraction overnight s the water seeps away on the grass pitch.

I wonder if we've all been to the same CL in Lincolnshire. .....
I forget the name of the site, but you'd never forget the hour the owner spent giving us the local info brief when we arrived. ..... I thought he was going to stop for the night! Lovely
site though, fairly new and a red 'occupied' light on the shower block0 -
Ask the CL owner. He might have a ceptic tank that he wouldn't thank you for filling with water and a bit of soap. A CL we stopped at in Lincolnshire told us specifically to put our waste water into the hedge rows
exactly, most rural cl owners are more thwn happy to have the water directed into the hedge.
we have a 5 m or so long roll of flexible ribbed waste pipe which just fits to the end of the waste outlet, and run this into the hedge.
also serves for serviced pitches

Many CLs and many sites we visit in France have spacious pitches and plenty of hedges/vegetation. In those cases we do as other continentals - put a bucket under the drain and dispose in the hedgerows. The only hing I would add is that we don't really use
the waste for food so it's essentially grey waste. On a Club site or on hot, barren, sites we keep the waste in the tank until we find the next disposal point.
