Travelling with fresh water in winter
I have a 2016 Autosleeper Kemerton which has tank blankets which I assume will stop the tanks freezing in winter. What about when travelling to sites as the tanks are exposed to the elements. I do like to travel with some water just in case!

If you're travelling the water will move and is very unlikely to freeze in this country.

We toured with our AS throughout last Winter and Winter previous, including temps down to -12c. I can't recall us having any issues. Can only assume well lagged or residual heat kept things ok. We always drain down when getting home though, if MH is having
time off. Never had issues with onboard caravan tank either, although we didn't travel with that with water in, but it never froze on site. Unlike the other van with exterior water barrel. Pass the hairdryer please!0 -
and if you have tank heaters switch them on.

Write your comments here...You can't operate the tank heaters on the move.
Surely that depends on how they are wired on the motorhome. I have not yet found it cold enough to run mine but I do have a 12v supply available with the ignition on although I am aware not all motorhomes do.
