Turn up without an appointment and get to open the door first then smell. If it smells damp it probably is. You need to check everywhere including the backs of all the cupboards and in all the inaccesible places. Also look at the walls for signs of water
damage. If you find ANYTHING walk away. It may be your perfect layout and the salesman may say it's nothing but it's your money and time that are going to be spent putting it right afterwards. Make sure it has a full service history and has had it's damp checks
done. This is what the next prospective buyer might ask in a few years time when you decide to change.0 -
Lunar motorhomes were built to a good standard. Compared to established motorhome manufacturers at the time, they were considered uninspiring.
Have a look at this article which gives a brief history of Lunar motorhomes.

In simple terms, if the van you are looking at was built in the UK, free of dampp and in good condition [quite likely], then it will be a reasonable buy.
