I wish to re-seal the Heki on my Autosleeper Duetto. Has anyone performed this task. Any help appreciated. Duetto1.

Not a good idea to use silicone, causes more problems than it cures, the only way to do a reseal is to remove the unit completly, remove the small air vents fron the surrond inside the van (they clip in place, remove outer frame, you should then see 10 or
12 clamps , remove these clamps, you can then with a little effort remove the outer frame from the outside of the unit, you usually have to cut the exsiting sealant, remove all old sealant from both the outer frame and roof, throughly clean both surfaces,
reseal with the sealant of your choice (not silicone) refit in reverse.

Oversealing is a bodge, even using clear silicone will show up dirt after a few days. Removing a nd rebedding with proper mastic seal should only take a couple of hours tops. Have all the bits you need befoe you start and make sure all the surfaces are completely
    clean before sealing it in.
