Truma Heater not working on electric
Hi. I have a 2010 Coachman Amara 520/4 and when I was away this weekend I put the heater on gas and it was fine. Once we were warmed up I went to turn it to electric and nothing. No green light on the dial and the stat didnt click anywhere when I turned
it up and down. As I say, gas works fine. Any help would be good thanks

My Truma is fed from a fused spur box under the seat/bed near the Truma, there should be a fuse in that......

if its a Combi, there will be a fuse under the 'flap' on the top of the unit, there will also be the red 'reset' button which might just sort it for you.
the button is set really deep into the plastic housing and needs a pencil or similar to switch it....

Thanks all for your suggestions

Write your comments here...I have a 2009 Coachman Festival 520/4, for ages i was running my boiler on electric (i thought) but i wasnt, the dial with the green light on the side of the bed box is for Gas ONLY, and although the mains switch alongside was on, the fuse had blown. New fuse and properly inserted(another problem) the water was then heated by electricity alone. Dont know if that is your problem, but it caught me out, for several weeks.Re-reading your post, you are talking about the heater, not sure where the fuse for that is, but there must be one, either that or the element has gone. not much else in the circuit i would think, let me know what you find, thanks. Otherwise very pleased with our van.
