Window damage

Hello. I have a 2016 Hobby Prestige and during the warm weather yesterday we opened the front panoramic window and the right side broke at the lock (never been

open before) I've called the dealer that we brought the van from and they are saying that it's not covered under the warranty as its accidentally damage, I believe that it's a fault, what's people advise please as its nearly £350 to replace?
