More issues with Bailey caravan after sales service.

On my way back from the Lakes a side marker light fell off my caravan on the motorway. (Nearside lens). Rang Baileys parts, ordered sidelight lens supposedly next day delivery didn't arrive. Rang up oh we're having issues with the system it'll be tomorrow.
Didn't turn up.  Rang up said it's now Monday.   We're away Tuesday have to search around to find a lens as it's illegal to show a white light at the rear.  Also had a problem trying to work out the onboard water pump. Rang Baileys, I'm sorry we don't have
an help line.  I love the caravan but quite frankly the after sales service is terrible!   Rant over.

Sorry to hear about your problems with Baileys after sales/parts service which could not be more different to mine.  I have used them 3 times over the past few years and found their service to be prompt, polite and reliable.  I needed a new 'vanity' unit sink which arrived promptly is a sealed box but one of the lugs was broken; phoned Baileys who immediately despatched another having promised that they would check it before sending.  Can you not get a new lense cover from a local dealer?

We lost one from our Coachman on way to Wirral site a month ago. Rang local dealer Flintshire caravans with part number from remaining light and picked up less than an hour later. They had a large stock of many different light fittings. Suggest you try nearest
caravan spares shop since many of same marker lights fitted to different makes.

Dealer tells me Bailey have a new website which is a disaster and they can't order parts via that method. Apparently their website designer has resigned and Bailey are trying to sort the problems out.

To be frank the others are no better and most seem worse so if you need a part and the local dealer does not have it you will wait and wait.

Just looked at the Bailey parts web site, nowhere near as clear as the old one.  However,  I could order a part if I wanted - took an 'order' to checkout and then stopped.

Why didn't you deal with this via the dealer you bought it from ??
