2016 Lunar Clubman SI

Hi,

I am thinking of buying a new Lunar Clubman SI and wondered if any members who own one could give me their thoughts on what they think of it, build quality etc and the pros and cons. Any info greatly appreciated.

    Our friends have the 2015 SI and had a few issues with the toilet and a few other minor issues common with every new caravan and they are very happy with their purchase

    We have a two year old Quasar and have been very happy. All makes turn out the odd problem caravan so it is all a matter of luck rather than model.

    There were a couple of very minor points on ours but nothing of any consequence. According to the last Practical Caravan survey they are average for customer satisfaction so if that is what they l7ke I would go for it.

    We have a new Stellar and have been very impressed by the finish that Lunar have achieved exterior sealing is exceptionally neat and no faults thus far.

    We have a 2015 lunar lexon as of yet I've had no problems fit and built very well .

    Friends of ours have had Deltas for years & 2 years ago switched to a Lexon 640, they love it, only ever had minor niggles with any of their Lunars, they even escaped the front window issue Lunar had a few years back.

    We were enquiring about a Lexon at one of our local dealers a couple of weeks ago only to be told if you can't find the model you want in stock they're no longer available to order as Lunar have dropped the Lexon name/range.

    Asked what Lunar were planning to replace it with he said he didn't know.

    A bit gutted as we really like the Lexon range but it seems that won't be an option for 2017, anyone else heard this?

    Clubman range is lovely but it's a little bit further than i want to stretch myself.

    We have a Clubman SB 2015 loverley van, but was a bit unlucky had onewith the toilet wiring loom problem, the flush pack up, dealer sorted it out for us under warranty, Bought it last July got 2000k knocked of it. Glad you are going for it you should enjoy

    Collected our 2016 Clubman SI in March, just completed our 3rd weekend away and this is the best van so far (been rallying since 1973). It's comfy, tows nicely and is palatial.

    the toilet issues have been sorted!!!Lunar have gone back to fitting the far better designed Thetford toilet!!!!

    I bought a Lunar Clubman SI in April 2013

    I have had a lot of problems with it, 3 new windows in the front, 4 new blinds on the front windows and they are still not right, 2 new toilets, the caravan is at the moment back at Lunar because the floor delaminated and the "dealers" could not repair it,
    it was too bad so in early NOVEMBER 2015 it was reported to Lunar. On the 23rd. APRIL 2016 Lunar collected it repaired the floor then found other problems. I hope to get it back about the 12th. JUNE!!!!

    By the way lunar will not talk to me If I want to know anything I have to go through the repair center from which Lunar picked up the Caravan!!
