I have a hinged shelf in my caravan and the vinyl has lifted and curled away at the edges.  in the evenings its all that the OH can focus on!  I've tried sticking it down with wallpaper paste and superglue but to no avail.  Does anybody have a suggestion
on what glue to use?

Many thanks, DD

Evo Stik is a good contact adhesive and should do the job very well. Super glue is no good because you are trying to glue a porus surface and it's not designed for that. Dab both surfaces with EvoStik, let it dry then press both surfaces together.

    Job done.

Thanks very much for the technical advice Dave!  I'll pick some up and give it a try.

I stuck mine back down by heating the vinyl up with a hairdryer and pushing it down, seemed to work for me

Slightly different approach, but it worked for us, and long lasting. Take off sticky vinyl, and replace with sticky backed floor tiles, the thin sort (not ceramic), to match as close as possible to what you have on other surfaces. Easy to cut to shape.

Write your comments here...This method can also work if you let the adhesive (evostick etc ) dry By re-heating it gives a stronger bond too.Can even be used this way to stick replacement rubber souls on shoes !! Wink.
