Thetford fridge. Which way is colder?

i want to get my fridge colder.  Do I want it so the bars on the led screen are on the biggest bar.?  Or do I want it on the smallest bar nearer the snowflake picture?

    On the biggest black bar i.e. as dark as possible.....

    The more bars showing the colder it should be. My Thetford fridge/ freezer is rubbish on ehu and doesn't even keep the milk cold let alone keep the food frozen. Absolutely fine gas.

    Using my freezer for the first time ever this trip so will be interesting to see how well it works.  Ive put one of those freezable cocktail sachets in to assess progress and it's not frozen yet.  However the already frozen sausage rolls are still frozen......just
    hoping they don't defrost!
