That is a great setup. One thing often missed, is that with free-standing, its easy to optimise the positioning of the panels. Up here in the far north, the sun doesn't come from above, but at an angle. It makes a huge difference. Roof mounted panels, you get what you are given.

The roof ones give a good average with no human involvement, if you are not around to secure or move the floor panels then you wont be optimal throughout the day anyway, but your right, they are more effective, but require manual intervention to be maxed
out.0
