I need to remove the toilet and   dry the floor following a leak from a pump pipe. Is it just the 4 screws holding it to the floor and the filler door screws that hold it on?.

cheers

Peter

From memory I believe that is all you need to do as the door for emptying the waste tank is separate. I had a similar problem a few years back, where I had to dry the wall as wellas the floor.

yes .....BUT.....itis easier to remove the filler from the toilet.it is sealed with 2 "o" rings and just removing the fixing screws can make the job harder.

so I can take it that the toilet itself isn't glued or sealed to the inside of the van?   looks as though the best course of action is to remove filler door first. On close inspection it looks like the sealant around the cassette door has perished which
is adding to water problem.and for a final rant why do manufacturers construct an outside door with what is effectively a part of the internal wall of the van

Removing loo very easy, just a matter of taking out filler door and the 4 screws under the cassette holding it to the floor. Turns out the damp isnt from the pipe leak, the sealant around the filler door was poorly applied from new and had also perished
(2009 lunar lexon SI)  heater drying things out, and will be refitting door with new sealant in the right places, also resealing the cassette door and fitting Fiammi drip strip over the the filler and cassette doors.  Advise everyone to check this out as I
dont believe its a one off, just plain slap dash attitude when builtYell

Oh, almost forgot to mention, there is only one  O ring  on the filler door although grooves for two, didnt really make much difference as water ingress occured around the filler door.
