    Hi all,

Well it looks like it has lost interest.  In 1980s I had a Fin keel yacht based at Hull Marina, I used to bring it home for the winter beacuse I could with my transport operation.  A fellow yachtsman asked me for some oil drums to prop his 30' finkeel up in the storage area - standard way of supporting them all over the UK. I said I could do better and built him a unique method of support which I delivered on the roof rack of my car.  He was very sceptical but I assured him it would work since that is what I used at home.  After using it he suggested I patent the idea - alas I did not. The following year the idea was copied in the boatyard and in subsequent years is now the only method of propping up yachts across Europe.

I think we've probably said as much as we can.
