Sprite Major 4 sb
finally put a deposit down on a new sprite major sb 4
when i go to pay the remainder would you advise and how much should i pay them with my credit card ?
as i believe that way the credit card company can fight your corner for you if you have any future warranty claims ie not fit for purpose or sale of goods act.
has anyone ever done this and did it help when a dispute arose with the dealer or manufacturer ??

I would love to use my credit card to pay for such a large amount as I get 1% back on all transactions but would not expect that to be acceptable to the dealer. I imagine that their charges are even higher (4%?), so am happy to spare them that expense and
gain some good will. I choose a dealer that I trust. If something went wrong I would not expect the fact that I hadn’t paid by credit card to affect my position.0 -
Basically it would seem that if you pay something on a credit card then you get lots of extra protection. The credit card company becomes jointly liable with the seller if you have a problem. The point is you don't have to pay it all on a cc.

I agree with Boff but would always advise using a credit card to pay the deposit. That gets you the protection as above but also covers you if the dealer goes bust before you get the new caravan.
