Has anyone used this site at this time of year, or can anyone recommend a site inthe vacinity.
We are travelling through France from calais with Caravan.

We used it at the beginning of November on our way down to Spain. It's ok for a stop over but....
unless you arrive at a specific time you can't get through the security gate unless you spot a resident who will open it for you. The office is only manned for a time in the morning and the afternoon.
the pitches are all grass and whilst reasonably firm when we stopped could be a lot softer now.
other than that it's ok.
oh and the person who answers the phone doesn't speak English so booking is tricky and understanding the recorded phone message is also tricky unless you understand French.
