Hi all. we have just bought our first camper Van and plan the winter in south Spain . what's the best , most economic, most Direct route through France & Spain to the Costa. ?

    I believe that the best route is usually a mixture of toll and none toll roads

    Nigel, normally from your Devon address I would say cross from Plymouth to Roscoff and run south to Nantes, Bordeaux and the Spanish border - but there are no ferries to Roscoff from 2 January to 6 February, 2017,  so it might mean the same route but starting from Portsmouth. Maps out time !
