ACSI Renewal when Over-wintering in Spain

How do others cope when overwintering from November to February or March?  I have ACSI 2016 (although will at most get 1 months use, assuming we use ACSI sites - not complaining at that). I am equaly happy to pay for 2017, and don't even need the physical
books (the Apps work fine).

You would think that ACSI would come up with a system whereby you could buy just the card well in advance of the publication of the physical books (in early December).......or even perhaps by email delivery{#emotions_dlg.laughing}  
They seem to be well into technology when it suits them.

We don't have anyone checking our post, so even if we pre-ordered the books, forwarding the card is not an option, and anyway we have no idea where we will be at any given time, or for how long.

Are the books often available for purchase at ACSI sites, or elsewhere locally?  I can even envisage a situation where we check into an ACSI site before Christmas with a valid card, but don't have a valid card when we come to leave

    If you google Buy ACSI Card in Spain it gives you a list of about 30 sales points over there.

    Thanks. I hadn't spotted that on the ACSI site.  Will have to sit down with the map to find out where most of those places are!

    Vicarious books will indeed post to an address abroad.  We were travelling through Spain over winter a couple of years ago.  We knew where we would be over Christmas so advised the site adderss to Vicarious Books who posted it there.  We e-mailed the site
    to let them know that ACSI were sending the book, and it was waiting for us when we arrived on 22 December.

    The OP says he doesn't know where he'll be or for how long, so ordering one to be posted out isn't going to work.  We are in the same situation, so I looked at the list of sales points and using Google Maps entered them on Garmin Basecamp in a new folder.
     So when I plot a route I can see if there will be a sales outlet nearby.

    Geejay, Yes, that does seem the only realistic solution. IF we decide to stay in one place for a couple of weeks, I might order from Vicarious.  Trouble is a fairly hefty package and Christmas/New Year post conspire against this working. I might ask Vicarious
    if they would be willing to post just the card.

    Thanks to all. Thought it worth a question in case anyone had found an unpublicised solution. (OAT, your blogs have been a great help and inspiration to us in planning).

    I find they are frequently on sale at ACSI campsites. Whether they are the english versions I have never checked.
