I imagine that unless you are within range of a transmitter in NI then you will need a satellite to get usual UK programmes. You should be able to pick up Irish programmes via an aerial.

Mrs B seems to be able to get Sickly on her iPad wherever we go so Ireland shouldn't be a problem. In Montenegro at the moment and reception is good , it seems that Will something took a hissy fit

As far as I remember from a friend, Southern Ireland (Eire) has there own Digital freeview for which you will need a receiver box. We have a Cello tv that comes with it built in. Failing that a satellite system.

Look up SAORVIEW on the internet and it will tell you all about TV in Ireland. If you have a modern (digital) TV and a TV arial on your caravan you should be able to get Ulster TV which will give you Uk channels.

In Souther Ireland it is not Freeeview but rather dire viewing.  The TV is terrible which is why we went and bought a satellite dish to receive UK TV.
