Camping Cheque price

It doesn't seem so long ago that the price of Camping Cheques was raised. They said it was because of the value of the pound. I wonder if with the price will go down with the value of the pound dropping drastically.

Camping Cheques is a French company. Now that the value of the pound sterling has dropped everything we buy from France will be dearer not cheaper.

I know that. The point I am trying to make is, when the pound was strong the price of CCs went up from €15 to €16. They said the rise was because of the strength of the pound.

Even though it states on the Camping Cheques website 'A single price throughout Europe', our Camping Cheques have always been priced in pounds, and went up from £13.95 to £14.95 (which never really equated to 16 euros however you did the sums!)

If they drop the price for us, say to £13.95 again to attract more Brits, then everyone in Europe will just order them from the English website, as we used to do from the French website.

It's still marginally cheaper to buy Camping Cheques from the French website at £14.44 rather than at £14.95 in this country but of course that only applies if you have a card which doesn't charge for transactions in Euros.
