    If you go at the right time of the year you might see the haggis rutting. 

    Got to be worth a trip for that

    We are on our way home now and in Germany but will seriously consider your Swiss route next year and I wouldn't  mind a bit of detail about your halts en-route .

    Our last trip via Switzerland was one night at each of the following, Horsley, Guines, Chalon,Les Boulaux(near Strasburg), Sursee(in Switzerland), San Francesco(Garda) then Polari. Over eight years we have use 42 campsites getting there. We go to Croatia
    a diffrent rout each year via Vienna, Bled, Paris or Switzerland.

    DJG.  How refreshing to see your answer after all those people who ask on here for THE way to somewhere, and the answers they get from people who never deviate from from the one true route.

    If you want to be in Europe, use the British Pound AND avoid ferry delays and costs, then travel to Scotland. Most people also speak English.
