We used this crossing this year at roughly the same timescale as KJ and the fare was £120 return so price is about right. Stayed at a local confirmed near Harwich for out and back and at Delft when disembarked. You might find Delft won't be ACSI at that
time as Dutch have national hols in late April. It's a bit busy in Holland as the ferry docks straight into rush hour for Rotterdam but the road signs are good if you follow the motorway route to Delft. Just make sure you access the site by going past IKEA
and not the old way as this has vehicle damaging concrete blocks to discourage that way.

Day time cabins are reasonable at roughly €28.

Yes, the Harwich/Hook deal is really good!  £112.60 for car and caravan on the dates I experimented with - and that's
    RETURN!

Mrs Fysh wants her cabin and evening meal. Surprised

Must admit despite the awkward sailing times I was very tempted . I was paying those prices 15 years ago!

We haven't booled a cabin, I expect we will survive!

Will probably take a packed lunch plus nibbles and soft drinks, might buy dinner though.

Ferry now booked, out late April and back mid June, £112.60 as Val said.

Can anyone who has used the day crossing before suggest suitable sites.......one in UK where we can leave early morning on the way out, and arrive late evening on the way back, and one in Holland where we can arrive in the evening?

    Hi,

Hull offers for 2017 have now been released, this is an early booking offer that may expire at the end of February 2017.

Free caravans and reduced motorhome rates

Caravans travel free and motorhomes travel at the price of a car on selected sailings with:

    Kind regards.

    Kimberley.

Write your comments here...is there anywhere that tells us which crossings are available on this offer, short of going through the whole booking process. I refer to Hull Zeebrugge, don't want Harwich

AD, the post said 'Free caravans or M/H for price of a car' from that I assumed that the offer for M/H's was only on the Sat/Sun crossing same as Free caravans but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Still not looking at booking just yet as we are not sure where we are heading, more than likely France, been looking at going over to Roscoff aswell, going down through Brittany then West coast and along the Med but after this years weather there  the plans
    are very fluid. Wink

Are there any details of the 'early booking offer'?  There doesn't seem to be any text on the Ferries Booking page which would attract people to have a look at this crossing.

Thank you Val, the offers are listed here.

    Kind regards Kimberley.

Write your comments here...Trued that link, couldn't see any offer its just a link to P and.  So I emailed P and O asking which crossings qualified. Here is their reply:-

    Hello Henry,

Henry. No point contacting P&O . The offers are from the Club, so phone the travel department at Club HQ and discuss the dates you have in mind . The number is 01342 316101

For the customer services dept at P&O to not know about special offers that have been available for donkeys years and then wanting the customer to do the work providing them with the info says it all really.

Prior to using the CC to book my ferries I would always phone P&O direct and discussWink with the agent what my best option would be, infact it
was from them that I was informed that caravans/trailers were free on Sat/Sun sailings.

Note to self phone P&O and ask about trailers again Wink
