Camping Aaregg - Access
Looking at stopping at this caravan club recommended site in Switzerland for a few days then moving onto Lake Garda. First European trip in our new Motorhome,
The reviews sound great, but would really appreciate comments from anyone re access to the site. There is a low bridge on the access road when I looked on google it shows a height restriction of 3.5m. My motorhome shows a 3.2m height on Autotrail website
(Appache 700) not sure if this includes the TVs aerial? this obviously is lower than the signed limit but all feels a little too tight for comfort.
Any advice really appreciated

If it is camping Aaregg at Brienz, there are two ways in one uses the low bridge, the other doesn't coiming in from the river side rather than the town side. It is a fantastic site with great lakeside pitches and great facilities. A really good choice of
site and the bridge doesn't need to be used......enjoy0 -
Yes it's the site at Brienz, Thanks for the response guys, appreciate the freedom with a Motorhome, however next year we are meeting up with other families so are being much more structured.
Hugh that's great news about the other access route, will check that out, just went with the suggested route on the campsites website
Cheers

It's four years since we were there but I am sure the route will still be available, one word of warning if you miss the road entrance you have to travel nearly to Interlaken to turn round as the road is through tunnels and far too busy to turn round on, we made sure we didn't miss it the second time. There are some you tube videos of the Brienz to Interlaken road which are good viewing.
Fyi the road in goes past the site entrance and upto the low bridge if that assists your google views.
The public transport links are fantastic and the trip up the Jungfrau very good but expensive, some fantastic walks and views to be had, we will return to the area it's so good.
