Oxygen supplied whilst in Spain

We have been spending winter in Spain as this improves my husbands lung problems. He has now gone on oxygen and trying to find out whether we can obtain oxygen abroad and to find the cost is impossible surely there are other caravanner out there can point
us in the right direction.

    Are there any support groups or organisations for your husband's condition that you know of? If so they may be able to advise. Alternatively the Club's Overseas Department might be able to help so it might be worth a phone call.

    Try www.healthcareinspaineu/visitingspain. Its a gov health site. Scroll down to heading oxygen. Lots of info and action to take.

    Have done the above but don't know whether they will supply and can't find anything about costs. We can't find anyone else who has this request and problems that arise from it

    Sorry, had to edit but the reference to govuk/spain by samsmum does give details of temporary oxgen supplies for uk travellers.

    Have you asked your doctor/hospital for advice?  There are some threads on Motorhomefun about portable oxygen concentrators which people carry in their vehicles.  Needs to be prescribed, I think and you may need to inform your vehicle insurer.
