CL's in France....

As most travellers will already know there are some great small sites to use in France. Not all are in the Caravan Club sites book though.

One less well known site is Les Taupinieres, Notre Dame du Touchet, Normandy in dept. 50140.

It is a lovely truly rural site with all facilities set in the countryside near to working farms. Kev and Bel are great hosts with nothing too much trouble and it has a mention in U K Campsites.

We really recommend it and will be back next year!

I presume the owners want to attract more business and if so they need to make their presence more widely known. They may get more visitors both from the UK, and from other nationalities if they were on the French website: CampingFrance.com (Sorry can't post a live link at the moment)  but here's the result of a search for Notre Dame de Touchet:  http://www.campingfrance.com/uk/find-your-campsite/normandy/manche/notre-dame-du-touchet and it doesn't appear that they are listed.

Sites on this website are also in the 'Le Guide Officiel Camping Caravanning' which is used by many visitors to France to find small out of the way campsites.

Given the clientele that comment on their website seem to be all English perhaps the OP should post a review on UKCampsites as whilst it is listed there are no reviews and it is likely to be reviews that persuade people to go?
