Eurotunnel API

We are just getting into the major travel period for holidays in France. 

Does anyone know what the API arrangements are for this year for Eurotunnel bookings made through the Club? Has it been done automatically by the Club at the time of booking or do I need to phone Eurotunnel and tell them myself?

    There was a thread about this subject on CT last year, the opening post was by Hazel (wonder how she's doing in her new job):

    If you have booked Eurotunnel through The Caravan Club please call: 0330 123 3207 with your API information prior to arrival at Folkestone.

    It is possible for direct customers to register their API details on the Eurotunnel website, however, for all bookings made via an agent (The Club in this case) the information entered has to be manually adjusted by Eurotunnel staff which is causing a backlog in processing the information.  Eurotunnel are developing their website to enable it to accept the API of trade bookings in the future but until that solution is in place, please submit your details via the telephone instead of the website.

    We went to France via a third party booking (Calais Winewarehouse) a few months ago. They booked the Tunnel crossing - but gave me a ref. no. to quote and I had to ring Eurotunnel direct with the API.

    Thanks for the responses. Quick phone call to Eurotunnel sorted it out - mind you it was a 10 wait and musak to get to a human being!!

    It would be a lot easier if this could all be done at the time of booking and so save everyone at deal of inconvenience.
