taking my caravan to Spain 1st time

Hi. I want to take my 4x4 and caravan to spain for 6 months. Can anyone addvise me on where to get insurance for the period. I have contacted several car insurance companies without any luck, there always seems to be a problem with one thing or another.
My intention is to , from time to time, leave the car and van in storage to come back to UK which insuranse companies dont seem to like. Would much appreciate any help with this.

    Can't help with insurance, but if your outfit - car + caravan - is more than 12m you will need a 'Long Vehicle'  indication on the rear that is an orange and red thing that you see on the rear of HGVs.  See you wear glasses so will need to have a spare pare in the car when driving!

    If you are over 50 then consider Saga for the car insurance you are looking for, and if they won't do the caravan insurance you want then try Towergate for that.
