Camping Villsom - Seville
Has anyone any experience of using this campsite near Seville. We have a 7M caravan and I have seen a comment that there are few spaces for large vans.

We stayed at Villsom for 2 nights in May this year it was quite busy then but most caravan / motorhome folk usually only do short stays there. The pitches aren't big we have a 6.5 metre caravan a small sun canopy and with the car as well there was a little
room to spare. The site is convenient for visiting Seville which was our purpose for staying at Villsom but personally 2 nights was long enough. Sanitation was clean & it had a nice swimming pool. Hope this helps.0 -
And also there is a convenient bus to centre of Seville. The pool is a wecome way of cooling down after a day out in Seville. This part of Spain can get very hot; it is known as the frying pan of Spain! I too have a 7m caravan and yes the pitches are
tight but there is lots of shade, so no need for sun awning.0 -
Thanks for the info. It seems that Villsom has something of a monopoly in the area, which is why it charges about 30€ a night, like the campsite near Toledo.

It's a bit further out but we had almost a week here:

If you go to the Yelloh site you get it in English and the staff have good English too.
A site with large pitches (although watch out for some kerbs) right in the middle of the national park with a cycle track to the nearest village. Showers are clean and were hot although at our visit, only one had a screen to separate it into wet and dry areas.
We would certainly use it again (El Rocio is also worth a visit - like a Western movie set!) and feel it is worth considering.

That is an interesting suggestion DougS, I've looked at the website and it looks like a good site to stay. It's about 50Km from Seville so need to look at how best to get there for a visit.. We went to El Rocio a few years ago when we stayed at the campsite
there, La Aldea. It is a very odd place.0
