Sites near Dieppe

We are traveling up from the Loire on Wednesday to catch the 12-30pm ferry from Dieppe on Friday looking to spend two nights near Dieppe to look around the area. We are a mature couple with no children just wondered if anyone can recommend a site in the
Dieppe area.

Thanks. Ob1

We stayed at Camping Le Marqueval about 2 miles west of Dieppe.....it is in the ACSI book.

Really fantastic site with pitches on the edge of lakes.

Camping Sainte Claire at Neufchâtel en Bray is close to Dieppe, lovely well maintained site within walking distance of Hypermarket and other retail outlets, and 15 minute walk in to town, we have stayed there a few times, and never been disappointed

We sort of discovered this site by accident as we changed our minds about staying at La Source because the person running the site was so unpleasent. I am glad in a way that he was as he was as I think Le Marqueval is a much nicer site and would second the
    recommendation. Some pictures

Camping La Source. Beside a small river, peaceful and delightful setting and lovely manager and 20 mins drive around the ring road to the town and ferry port . No restos nor shops nearby except a boulangerie and a Tabac in the village.

EDIT. Just noticed you had aggro with the manager, Herve Legrand. I've often stopped there for a night or two in the past 5 years and always found him and his wife very friendly and helpful.

I am not the sort of person to upset people, more likely the opposite but the person you mention certainly took a dislike to me. Not that I was on the campsite that long but I was not impressed in quality terms either and the access was not the easist. I had previously read many glowing reports about the site which was the reason I went in the first place. Unfortunately for us the reality did not match expectations. I did wonder if I had interupted his lunch!!! I am glad your experience has been better than ours.
