Sites near St. Malo.

Can anyone please suggest a site within a short distance of St. Malo suitable for the 10,30 a.m. ferry to Portsmouth. We will be coming up from La Rochelle at a leisurely pace and want to be reasonably close to the ferry for our final night.

    Domaine de la Ville Huchet about 10 minutes away from the port at St Malo.

    ValDa, have you ever been to Campsite Des Chevrets near St Malo?

    We had that one pencilled in, but only based on ACSI reviews.

    We've used this site (Ville Huchet) a couple of times - facilities good and convenient for port.

    ...as I write this I am sitting on a pitch on Ville Huchet. It's OK for a stopover for a few nights, wee it my site Inwould be out mowing the grass and cutting back the trees etc, but it's a nice relaxed French site with no major issues with the huge advantage
    of being very close to St Malo and all it's wonderfulness. Weather day was great and forecast to be decent not the weekend. Just firing up the BBQ and rhennff to support Wales Bale v's Ronaldo at 9.00 this event and sampling which cheap cheap vino  collapso
    to buy in bulk at the Intermarche to take with us on Friday........a decent little Bordeaux at 2.35 is winning so far.......come here for your stopover you will not be too unhappy.

    ..........from the above some might infer that we have been sampling rather too much rouge, but can assure all readers the   spelling errors are all due to silly iPad........
