Can anyone please recommend a good site around the Lindau area of Germany.  Don't want to go into Switzerland.  Thanks in advance

Look at Camping Salem further along the Bodensee we stopped there last week and enjoyed it.

It depends if you want to actually be on the Bodensee. A few years age we stayed at Park Camping which is quite near to Lindau, review

    here
. About a week ago we stayed at Camping William at Allensbach which is on the western end of the lake, not yet had a chance to do a review but watch this space!!

Camping Geitzenweiler (not sure of spelling) is a bit north of Lindau and has bus service to Lindau, free I think.  Reasonable site, good faclities, pool, food............sorry this is a bit vague, we liked it there last September.

We stayed at Camping Gitzenweiler Hof last June and can recommend it. There is a free bus service into Lindau from the bus stop opposite the gate, although you change buses half way, it is still free. The staff in reception speak english and are very pleasant
and helpful. We would not hesitate to stay there again.
