Camping St Paul, anybody know this site?

Hi,

Interested in re-visiting some of the delightful villages around here and the area around Contignac, Gourdon, Seillans, Sillans-la-Cascade.

Just wondering if anyone knew of any good campsites?

Decent size pitches, clean, a nice pool and maybe close to a village.

Cheers,

Mrs Murdy.

We usually stay in the Frejus area and drive to the hilltop villages.  If you want to push the boat out, try L'Etoile D'Argens at St Aygulf.  It is an 'all singing-dancing site', very big, but somehow doesn't feel too big because of the way it is set out
in little cul-de-sacs.  However, it is very expensive and you'll be lucky to get a pitch unless you book in January!  The smaller site we used to stay at at Puget has been sold to a 'larger company' who have turned it into a 'statics only' site.  A great loss,
    in our opinion.

Just had a quick look.  The site at St Paul looks fine, but I can't find any reviews for it - I've looked on UKCampsite.co.uk.  I know many sites have a short season, but this one is only open June, July and August, generally - that is short!

We stay in Cotignac regularly but in a gite but I know there is a site in Salernes that I was told was ok but never stayed myself. Salernes is nice with a river you can swim in  not sure of the site facilities.
