In France at present and moving to the Royan area tomorrow. Has anyone got suggestions for a nice ACSI site?

We liked La Palombiere at Les Mathes and Beausoleil in La Palmyre - both about ten miles north west of Royan.

I would recommend Camping Bois Soleil at St Georges DIdonne, just south of Royan. Its right on the coast with sea views ( good chance of getting a good pitch at this time of year) . See http://www.bois-soleil.com/

North of Royan this one has good recommendations on Campingcard.  Campsite Municipal de la Garenne
We will probably be there next week.  In Royan there is
    Campsite Le Puits de l'Auture
    .

Thanks for all your suggestions, we are staying on Surfers suggestion of Campsite Le Puits de L'Auture. A lovely rustic campsite facing the sea. Today we cycled into Royan and tomorrow we will cycle the other direction into La Palmyre. Weather OK but not
brilliant, mornings tend to be very overcast but weather improving in the afternoon
