Tape Worm Treatment before returnin to UK

Could someone please point me in the right direction?

I will need to have my pet dog treated for Tape Worm before returning to the UK. My problem is I will not be in  the Eurotunnel (Coquelles) Area within the time scale allowed.

I will be in Cheverney (Central region of France) and am struggling to find a Vet to administer the treatment and be authorised to stamp his passport accordingly.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

    Google is throwing up the name of a Monsieur Pascal as vet in Contres, just down the road from Cheverny, and giving his address and phone number. Have a look.

    Yes, we have always found the site reception will have details of local vets and will help making an appointment for you. Cost vary considerably. We found €12 in Germany to €52 in France, and, surprisingly, somewhere in between in Interlaken, Switzerland.
    We have had very good experiences with European vets, always friendly and helpful. The general rule is to get the pet passport signed, dated and completed between 24hrs and 120hrs before returning to the UK. But always check the DEFRA web site for the "Pet
    Passport Scheme" to make sure you have the latest info. Have a lovely trip.

    Thanks to everyone who replied.

    As you can no doubt tell this is our first visit to Europe in our Motorhome with our pet dog, and although the passport itself has proven to be quite easy to obtain (we have an excellent Vet) we were worried about the return part of the journey.

    I appreciate all the advice.

    Finding a vet really isn't an issue, but whichever one you use please check the vet's entry in your pet passport carefully before you leave the surgery. Last year the vet dated the treatment as 17/06/2017 instead of 2015 and it was picked up at the tunnel
    check-in so we had to find another vet in Calais to countersign  the passport (at a charge) and get back to the tunnel. We also had an occasion where the receptionist wrote the wrong time which would have put us outside the (then) 24 hour window but we spotted
    that one.

    Another piece of advice is to have the treatment given with a bit of leeway to allow for unforseen delays. Ie not arriving at the chunnel with only a few hrs left on the passport clock. It gives you peace of mind on the journey North and arrival at the chunnel.
    The process is really easy and straightforward checking that the vet has completed the entries correctly is the best bit of advice and enjoy.

    We collect our puppies passport on Saturday and chunnel booked for 2nd July woohoo
