hi have booked this site for a few days end of august and read mixed reviews, majority are for 2014 and some earlier. Not many recent .  

Has anyone stayed there recently. Would like to hear any experiences.

    Haven't been there but have just looked at reviews on half a dozen websites (both UK Clubs, Trip Advisor, ACSI, Zoover etc). The dates of the visits reported are important as it sounds to be a different place in peak season compared with how it is earlier
    and later in the year.

    Thank you that's the impression I have got too. Location seems to be the biggest draw for this site dur to the closeness of the beach as its only our 2nd visit to France with the van I am really hoping we've made the right choice  Wondering if we should
    consider changinf booking but will any others near the ferry be any better  Thanks again

    Don't know if it's true of all sites, but whenever we've booked a site abroad we've been directed to a specific pitch, and have found things well organised if busy. Out of busy season(July, August) we go where the fancy takes us, and have found some really
    nice sites. I'd go with a booking until you gain familiarity and confidence - one less thing to think about

    Kme, My hunch is to stick with the booking you have. It may turn out to be busy, cramped and noisy - but that's not the end of the world, is it. That's seaside France in August. Go over and enjoy your holiday. Good luck.

    French seaside sites are very busy and very full in the first half of August.By the end if the third week in August they are starting to empty out.If you are going end August you should be OK
