Park-camping Lindau am See Bavaria

We are travelling to Germany in June in our motorhome and intend to stay for a while at the above site.  During our stay we need to go by train to Munich to visit friends and would like to know if there is a bus or local train from near the site to the main
station in Lindau which I believe is some way away.

Any help will be welcome.

    Have you booked the site as there are some lovely Stellplatz in that area and most are close or in the town.  Many often include free local transport within the price of stopping.  They also don't usually have a minimum stay so you could stay a while.

    Thanks for your reply. 

    We need space to erect our awning and will probably stay for about 4 days so are looking for full campsite facilities.
