Camping Les Breuils, Verdun - France

We have often used this site as a stop over en route to Switzerland and found it quite useful being only a short distance off the autoroute and with a hypermarket close by. The facilities always looked 'tired' but clean. Recently, however, some reviews indicate
that the standard of the facilities may have deteriorated. Does anyone have reasonably recent experience of this site to confirm or deny this. Thanks.

We stayed there last September and didn't think it any different from the time we stayed before a few years earlier. I should add that we don't generally use site facilities so perhaps my comment is not that useful. In the past we have only used it as a transit site but was wondering if we might stay a few days this years to visit the famous battlements.

Edit:- Just to add, the reviews on UKCampsites seem pretty positive.

David, Thanks for that - I'll check out the reviews.

Just read reviews on UK Campsites - as you say pretty positive, in contrast to some reviews on the ACSI site. It is conveniently located so I'll probably try it again for the night.

    Thanks again.

There is a supber aire just outside Verdun which we always use, even has toilets and showers.  All for Euro 6 per night.
