we went last year. Got the Harwich to Hook of Holland and went through Germany. Crossed the border at Dresden. Stayed in 2 campsites, one just south of Prauge and the other in Southern Bohemia. What sort of information are you after Embielle

We were there in 2008. Like oneputt we crossed south of Dresden to get to Prague. Dresden is wirth a few days stopover, both the city itself, nearby Colditz and the cliffs of swiss saxony up river from Dresden.
Camping Luxe-Oase is an excellent site, possibly one of the best we have stayed in.You will need a Vignette for Czech republic which you can buy easily at the border (if there is anyone there) or at the first service station after the border.
In Prague we stayed at
Oase Prague, another excellent site with a bus stop right outside to take you to the tram terminus and tram into the city. Our next stop was way over in the east, swards the Slovak border at a site we would not recommend!

Also went via Hartz Mountains and Dresden to Oase Prague. Site is about 50mins by bus and tram into Prague, good resturant on site and city itself good with plenty of good reasonably priced restaurants. Came back through Germany via Bamburgh Hook Ferry.

it's a long time since we went, 2001! Also stayed at the Oase Praha, mentioned a couple of times above. A lot will have changed, so our info is no longer relevant.
One trip I do remember, and that was the Ossuary at Kutna Hora. Quite fascinating in a macabre sort of way. It was easy to get to from the campsite in Prague, via underground and train.
