Small sites in Germany

hi, is there any guide, such as the "camping a la ferme" for France, listing German sites with minimal facilities? We want sanitation and electricity, but would rather avoid those with bar/restaurant , pool, etc, and prefer not to be able to hear the people in the van next door.. So a field with a toilet block and hook ups, basically. Does it exist, and if so how does one find it?

I thought I had found the answer for you - Kleincamp.de - then I spotted that their definition of Klein is a site with fewer than 150 pitches. Back to the drawing board. Sorry.

Try this one, the sites are on Farms.

www.bauenhofcamping.info.de  website is in german but easy to understand.

    Click on bauenhofsuche.

Click on the "Bundesland" on the map.

up comes the campsites, scroll up and down.

Click on the photo and up comes the info to the farm.

This is as small as campsites get in Germany.

    Hope this will help you

Give us a clue...Motorhome or Caravan?

    Some Stellplazen do take caravans.

We have a single axle, 15 ft, 2 berth, adults only, possibly plus dog, and towed by a 4X4. So can get most places.

There are thousands of Stellplatze in Germany so it's a tall order.

Google Stellplatz Germany and start your search there.

I don't know of an actual list of CL type sites.

The only problem with suggesting a Stellplatz, going from the OP's original post, is that they won't be quiet in the same sense that a campsite would be as you are usually cheek by jowl. The OP would be far better off using a proper campsite. If he is going
outside the high season they are unlikely to be that crowded.

Just a small correction to help the OP:

The website is www.bauernhofcamping.info, not www.bauernhofcamping.info.de
