    My only brush with the law was when I was breathalysed in France by a gendarme at 9 a.m. - a sergeant at a street junction showing six trainees how to do it. Alas he went to the left hand front window - found no steering wheel or driver there, went very red and all the trainees sniggered at him as he came round the other side.
