October to December is NOT winter in southern Spain, its autumn. Spain has its winter for about 4 weeks in late January to mid Feburary. Well might be a bit longer, but October is still really hot

There are lot's of good sites in spain, and the prices are good, with most sites the longer you stay the cheaper per night they are, unlike here at home. We have stayed at Bonterra Park in Benicasim for three winters and always found it a great site for
everything and near the town and beach, we also booked through the CC, but I think you will enjoy spain.0 -
We spent Sept - Nov 2015 in Spain and apart from a few weeks it was not hot, yes it was warm 24c. Some weeks it was very overcast with just a few hours a day of blue skies and sunshine. The further south you go of course it will get warmer. We got as far as Murcia where it was good and warm but we did have some days cloudy and we did get a far few thunderstorms. Having said all that this last winter has been the warmest on record I believe. The polular sites book up very early with many booking in March as they leave for the following Sept/Oct/Nov. If you want to tour then you won't have too much of a problem if you phone ahead in advance and have a few choices of sites. If you want to stay put then book ahead. Satellite tv in Spain is not possible unless you have a 1.5m dish, you can get Sky (if you take your box) and you subscribe to Sky, however you will not get BBC or ITV. Some sites can/will set you up with a big satellite dish for a fee, other sites like La Manga have a small dish that you can rent and they pipe in Satellite to it (don't know how it works but it does) Wifi is usually available on most Spanish sites.
